Two-Ingredient Ice Cream: Creamy, Natural, Grandkids Approved
Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, pour the heavy cream.
- Using an electric mixer, beat the cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk using a spatula, starting with a small portion to lighten the mixture before adding the rest.
- Once fully combined, transfer the mixture into an airtight container and cover to prevent ice crystals from forming.
Freezing
- Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours, or until fully set. For creamiest texture, freeze overnight.
- Before serving, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes for easier scooping.
Notes
For flavored ice cream, mix in extracts or fruit purees after folding in the condensed milk. Try adding crushed cookies or chocolate chips just before freezing. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
