These Turkish-style stuffed potatoes are a delicious and easy-to-prepare dish, perfect for sharing with family or friends.


Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 200g ground meat
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Breadcrumbs , for coating
  • Oil , for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel them and mash them.
  2. In a frying pan, cook the onion and garlic until golden brown.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until thoroughly cooked.
  4. Add the paprika, cumin, salt and pepper, mix well.
  5. Form small balls with the mashed potatoes and make a hole in the center.
  6. Fill with the meat mixture and close the potatoes.
  7. Dip the potatoes in the beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs.
  8. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  9. Serve them hot.
