Cinnamon Roll Cake (The One Everyone Always Asks For)
Cake:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup melted butter
Cinnamon Swirl:
1 cup softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
5 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 pan.
2. Mix cake batter ingredients until smooth.
3. Spread batter into pan.
4. Mix cinnamon swirl ingredients.
5. Drop swirl mixture over batter and swirl gently.
6. Bake 35–40 minutes until set.
7. Whisk glaze and pour over warm cake.
Notes
– Best glazed while warm.
– Great make-ahead dessert.
