- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Prepare a 20 cm (8 inches) baking pan by lining it with baking paper and greasing it with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the milk and vegetable oil, mixing well to combine.
- Sift the all-purpose flour and baking powder into the bowl, stirring gently until there are no lumps.
- Stir in the orange zest to the batter.
- Add the thinly sliced apples to the batter and fold them in gently.

Baking
