Wisconsin Supper Club Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 8 oz 225 g sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz 225 g brick cheese, shredded (or mix with more cheddar)
  • 4 oz 115 g cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup 60 g butter, softened
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika optional, for subtle smokiness
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional, for a mild kick
  • 2 –3 tbsp milk as needed for spreading consistency
  • Chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine the Cheeses
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cheddar, brick, and cream cheese.
  • Beat together with softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  • Add Flavorings
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne.
  • Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Adjust Consistency
  • Gradually add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the spread reaches a soft, spreadable consistency.
  • Chill
  • Transfer the cheese spread to a covered container.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve
  • Garnish with chopped chives or parsley before serving.
  • Serve with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables.
