This zucchini gratin with chicken and cheese is perfect for a quick and healthy dinner. With a mix of flavors and textures, it’s sure to become a favorite in your home.
Ingredients
- 2Â zucchini, sliced
- 300g of cooked and shredded chicken breast
- 200g of grated mozzarella cheese
- 50g of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1Â onion, chopped
- 2Â cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1Â teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1Â tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden brown.
- Add the shredded chicken, oregano, salt and pepper; cook for a few minutes.
- In a baking dish, place a layer of zucchini, followed by the chicken mixture, and cover with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used up, finishing with Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.

- This gratin can be customized by adding other vegetables such as peppers or spinach.
