  • 1 cup peanuts, soaked in water for 12 hours Soak peanuts for the best texture.
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 3 tbsp tapioca starch
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic Use fresh for a strong flavor.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • to taste black ground pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the soaked peanuts, water, salt, turmeric, tapioca starch, fresh parsley, garlic, olive oil, and black ground pepper.
  2. Blend the mixture until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and cook it over medium heat.
  4. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens and has a cheese-like consistency, about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Pour the cheese mixture into a mold or container of your choice.
  7. Refrigerate for 5-6 hours or until firm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Experiment by adding your favorite herbs or spices for additional flavor.
