Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 225 g 8 oz sliced pepperoni or spicy Italian salami
- 225 g 8 oz sliced provolone or mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara plus extra for dipping
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional but recommended
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or basil optional
Instructions

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Form the crescent ring.

Separate crescent dough into triangles. Arrange them in a circle on the baking sheet with wide ends overlapping in the center and points facing outward, forming a sun shape.
