These passion fruit truffles combine the tropical flavor of the fruit with the sweetness of chocolate, resulting in a smooth, elegant, and easy-to-prepare dessert.
Ingredients
- 1Â can of condensed milk
- 100g of chopped white chocolate
- 1/2Â cup of concentrated passion fruit juice
- 1Â tablespoon unsalted butter
- 300g of semi-sweet or milk chocolate for coating
- Capsules or molds for truffles (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the condensed milk, white chocolate, and butter over low heat, stirring until thickened.
- Remove from heat and add the passion fruit juice. Mix until combined and let cool completely.
- Form small balls with lightly greased hands and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate for coating in the microwave or in a double boiler.
- Dip each ball in the melted chocolate and place it on parchment paper or molds.
- Let it cool until the chocolate hardens. Decorate if desired.
Notes
- You can use natural passion fruit pulp, strained, instead of concentrated juice.
- For a vegan version, use plant-based condensed milk and dairy-free chocolate.
- Work in small batches when dipping the truffles to prevent the chocolate from cooling too quickly.
