Ingredients
- 1 lb 450 g ground beef (or mix beef + pork)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (or 2 tsp dried)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 2 –3 tbsp olive oil for frying
Optional for sauce:
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Mix the Meatball Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano.

Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly combined, but don’t overwork the meat.

Shape the Meatballs

Roll mixture into 1–1.5 inch balls using your hands.

Place them on a plate or tray, ready to cook.

Heat the Pan

Heat 2–3 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Make sure the pan is hot before adding the meatballs.

Pan-Fry the Meatballs

Add meatballs, leaving some space between them.

Cook 6–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until all sides are golden brown.

Reduce heat slightly if the outside browns too fast before the inside cooks.

Optional: Simmer in Sauce
