Total Time: 55 minutes
Ingredients
- Main Mixture:
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Crust:
- 1/2 cup Bisquick
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- Topping:
- 1 cup grated extra-sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 °F and grease a 9-inch pie plate with nonstick spray.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until the beef is thoroughly browned and no pink remains, about 10 minutes. Drain any excess fat and transfer the beef mixture to the prepared pie plate.
- In a small bowl, combine the Bisquick, milk, and eggs, whisking until smooth. Pour this crust mixture over the beef. Top evenly with the cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden and the crust is set, about 30-40 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
