This homemade chicken and carrot pâté is a creamy, easy and quick recipe, ideal for spreading on bread, serving as an appetizer or accompanying meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts
  • 1 finely grated carrot
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of cream (whipped cream or cream cheese)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the shredded chicken and grated carrot in a bowl.
  2. Add the mayonnaise and cream. Mix well until combined.
  3. Add salt, pepper and, if desired, parsley.
  4. Stir until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
  5. Refrigerate for one hour to intensify the flavor (optional).
  6. Serve it cold with bread rolls, crackers, or as a filling.
