Apple Filling
- 2 medium apples peeled and diced
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Bread Batter
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Swirl
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Optional Glaze
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 –2 tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat Oven

Set oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and lightly flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Prepare Apples

In a bowl, toss diced apples with sugar and cinnamon.

Set aside.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla.

Combine Batter

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients.

Stir gently until just combined (do not overmix).

Make Cinnamon Sugar Swirl

Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Layer the Bread
