Ingredients

  • 1 can 8 oz / 225 g refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 12 slices bacon thin-cut works best
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper optional, for balance

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare the dough:
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  • Wrap with bacon:
  • Starting at the wide end of each triangle, roll one slice of bacon around the dough, wrapping it snugly toward the tip.
  • Arrange in the dish:
  • Place each roll seam-side down in the prepared baking dish, leaving a little space between them.
  • Add the topping:
  • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar with melted butter. Stir in cinnamon and black pepper if using. Spoon the mixture evenly over the rolls.
  • Bake:
  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the bacon is fully cooked and the tops are golden and caramelized.
  • Rest & serve:
  • Let the bacon rolls cool for about 5 minutes before serving. The sauce will thicken slightly as it sets.
