- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper optional, for balance
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
-
Prepare the dough:
-
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
-
Wrap with bacon:
-
Starting at the wide end of each triangle, roll one slice of bacon around the dough, wrapping it snugly toward the tip.
-
Arrange in the dish:
-
Place each roll seam-side down in the prepared baking dish, leaving a little space between them.
-
Add the topping:
-
In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar with melted butter. Stir in cinnamon and black pepper if using. Spoon the mixture evenly over the rolls.
-
Bake:
-
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the bacon is fully cooked and the tops are golden and caramelized.
-
Rest & serve:
-
Let the bacon rolls cool for about 5 minutes before serving. The sauce will thicken slightly as it sets.
