Preparation
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin thoroughly.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese to create a flavorful garlic butter.
-
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Flatten each piece into a circle and gently press them into the muffin tin cups, pushing the dough up the sides to create small cups.
-
Brush a little garlic butter mixture inside each dough cup.
-
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into the bottom of each cup.
-
Fill the cups generously with shredded mozzarella cheese and top them off with mini pepperoni slices.
-
Brush the top edges of the dough with the remaining garlic butter.
Baking
-
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
-
Allow the pizza cupcakes to cool in the pan for 3 to 5 minutes before carefully removing them.
-
Garnish with chopped parsley or oregano before serving.
Notes
These cupcakes are perfect for game day, a party, or a cozy family movie night. Serve with a side of extra pizza sauce for dipping, or pair with a fresh salad for a complete meal. Leftover pizza cupcakes can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for crispy freshness. Make sure to grease the muffin tin well to prevent sticking.
