Ingredients
- 5-6 medium gold potatoes cut into large chunks
- 16 oz. sauerkraut
- 1 ½ lb. Polish sausage cut into large pieces
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp. caraway seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Layer the Sauerkraut: Begin by evenly spreading the sauerkraut across the bottom of the crockpot.

Add the Potatoes and Sausage: Place the potato chunks on top of the sauerkraut, then add the sausage pieces on top of the potatoes.

Prepare the Broth Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the chicken broth, caraway seeds, and bay leaf.

Pour and Season: Pour the broth mixture over the ingredients in the crockpot. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.

Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours. Once done, stir everything together before serving.
