Servings:Â 6
Ingredients
- For the Crescents
- 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 triangles)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- ¼ cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional Cream Cheese Glaze
- 2 oz cream cheese softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 –2 tablespoons milk
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until evenly combined.
-
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Lightly brush each triangle with melted butter.
-
Sprinkle a generous layer of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over each piece.
-
Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle toward the pointed tip to form a crescent shape. Place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
-
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
-
While they bake, prepare the glaze by whisking together cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth and pourable.
-
Allow crescents to cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze before serving.
