Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350 °F), preferably using a fan-assisted setting to promote even cooking.
  2. Butter the slices of bread on one side generously to create a deliciously crispy exterior while baking.
  3. Assemble the sandwiches by taking 3 slices of buttered bread, layering 1 slice each of ham and cheese on top, and then topping them with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up.
