Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked spiral ham 6–8 pounds
  • 2 cups cola soda
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp ground cloves optional but classic with ham

Instructions

  • Prepare the Slow Cooker
  • Place the ham flat-side down in a large slow cooker. If the ham is too big, you can trim a small piece off the top so the lid closes properly.
  • Make the Glaze
  • In a bowl, mix together:
  • cola
  • brown sugar
  • honey
  • Dijon mustard
  • ground cloves
  • Stir until the sugar begins to dissolve.
  • Add the Sauce
  • Pour the cola mixture over the ham, making sure some runs between the slices if it’s spiral-cut.
  • Slow Cook
  • Cover and cook:
  • LOW: 4–6 hours
  • HIGH: 2–3 hours
  • Occasionally spoon some of the cooking liquid over the ham for extra flavor.
  • Finish and Serve
  • Once the ham is heated through and tender, remove it carefully from the slow cooker.
  • Optional: simmer the remaining liquid in a saucepan for 5–10 minutes until slightly thickened, then drizzle it over the sliced ham.
