- 1 lb 450g ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
Beans
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 15 oz pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 15 oz baked beans (do not drain)
Sauce & Flavor
- ¾ cup barbecue sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Optional Add-Ins
- ½ lb cooked bacon chopped
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese for topping
- 1 jalapeño diced (for heat)
Instructions

Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Brown the Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.

Add diced onion and cook until softened (about 3–4 minutes).

Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds more.

Drain excess grease if needed.

In a large bowl (or directly in the baking dish), combine:
