Ingredients

  • 4 –5 pounds pork shoulder pork butt, boneless or bone-in
  • 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt or kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke hickory flavor recommended

Instructions

  • Prepare the pork
  • Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker, fat side facing up if possible.
  • Season
  • Sprinkle the salt evenly over the pork, then drizzle the liquid smoke across the top.
  • Slow cook
