Very Easy No-Bake Cheese Bread

This no-bake cheese bread is perfect for those looking for a quick recipe that requires no yeast or long waiting times. With a soft texture and a delicious melted cheese flavor, it’s ideal for breakfast, a snack, or as a side dish with any meal.


Ingredients

 

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup of milk
  • 2 cups of wheat flour (or all-purpose flour)
  • 1 cup of grated cheese (mozzarella, parmesan, or your preferred cheese)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter or vegetable oil

 


Instructions

  • Prepare the dry ingredients
    • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and grated cheese.
  • Incorporate the wet ingredients
    • In another bowl, beat the egg with the milk and melted butter.
    • Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until a homogeneous dough forms.
  • Shaping the loaves
    • Divide the dough into portions and form balls of the size you prefer.
    • You can also roll out the dough and cut out shapes using a mold or a glass.
  • Cooking without an oven
    • Heat a non-stick frying pan over low heat and grease it lightly.
    • Place the balls in the pan, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
    • Turn the loaves over and cook for another 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Serve and enjoy
    • Remove the bread from the pan and serve it hot. They’re ideal with butter, jam, or simply on their own.

  • You can add aromatic herbs like oregano or basil for an extra touch of flavor.
  • If you prefer a more airy bread, add a little more baking powder.
