Lobster tails with garlic butter

A quick and easy recipe for preparing lobster tails smothered in garlic butter with fresh herbs. Ideal for special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 pound of lobster tails (approximately 450 g )
  • ½ bunch of cilantro, leaves only, finely chopped
  • 2 sprigs of parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed vegetables to accompany (optional)

 


Instructions

  1. Boil water and make a lengthwise cut in the top of the lobster tails. Cook for 3 minutes. Set aside.
  2. In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Add the chopped garlic and sauté until translucent.
  4. Add the cilantro and parsley, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
  5. Add the lobster tails and cook for 5 minutes, basting them with the garlic butter.
  6. Add the remaining tablespoon of butter before serving.

Notes

  • Use unsalted butter for better flavor control.
  • Garlic should not be browned to avoid it becoming bitter.
  • The lobster should not be overcooked or it will become tough.
