A quick and easy recipe for preparing lobster tails smothered in garlic butter with fresh herbs. Ideal for special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1Â teaspoon of olive oil
- 3Â tablespoons of butter
- 2Â finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1 pound of lobster tails (approximately 450 g )
- ½ bunch of cilantro, leaves only, finely chopped
- 2Â sprigs of parsley, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Steamed vegetables to accompany (optional)
Instructions
- Boil water and make a lengthwise cut in the top of the lobster tails. Cook for 3 minutes. Set aside.
- In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the chopped garlic and sauté until translucent.
- Add the cilantro and parsley, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
- Add the lobster tails and cook for 5 minutes, basting them with the garlic butter.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of butter before serving.
Notes
- Use unsalted butter for better flavor control.
- Garlic should not be browned to avoid it becoming bitter.
- The lobster should not be overcooked or it will become tough.
