Cinnamon Roll Crescents

Ingredients

  • For the Crescents
  • 1 can 8 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 triangles)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional Cream Cheese Glaze
  • 2 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 –2 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until evenly combined.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Lightly brush each triangle with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle a generous layer of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over each piece.
  • Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle toward the pointed tip to form a crescent shape. Place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  • While they bake, prepare the glaze by whisking together cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth and pourable.
  • Allow crescents to cool slightly, then drizzle with glaze before serving.
