- 4 English muffins or sandwich buns
- 8 breakfast sausage patties about 2 per sandwich
- 4 large eggs
- 4 slices cheddar cheese or American cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 tbsp milk for fluffier eggs
Instructions
Cook the sausage

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Add the sausage patties and cook 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.

Remove from skillet and set aside.
Toast the buns

Split the English muffins and toast them in the same skillet for 1–2 minutes until golden.

Remove and set aside.
Cook the eggs

Melt 1 tbsp butter in the skillet.

Crack the eggs into the skillet and scramble (or cook sunny-side up if you prefer).

Assemble the sandwiches
