Slow Cooker Hot Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Add Ingredients to Slow Cooker
  • Place the heavy cream, chocolate chips, butter, sugar, and cocoa powder into the slow cooker. Do not stir yet.
  • Cook on Low
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 1½ to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. The mixture will gradually melt and become smooth.
  • Stir Until Silky
  • Once everything is melted, whisk gently until the sauce becomes glossy and fully combined.
  • Finish with Flavor
  • Stir in vanilla extract and a small pinch of salt. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Serve Warm
