  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp salt

Cinnamon Filling

  •  cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 –2 tbsp milk to adjust texture

Instructions

  • Activate the Yeast
  • Stir warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
  • Let rest 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  • Make the Dough
  • Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour.
  • Mix until dough forms, then knead 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour or until doubled.
  • Prepare the Filling
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Set softened butter aside.
  • Roll & Fill
  • Roll dough into a 14×9 inch rectangle.
  • Spread butter evenly over the surface.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon sugar across the dough.
  • Shape the Rolls
  • Roll dough tightly into a log.
  • Slice into 10–12 even rolls.
  • Place in a greased baking dish with slight spacing.
  • Second Rise
  • Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes until puffy.
  • Bake
