Ingredients
- 12 soft slider rolls Hawaiian-style or dinner rolls
- 12 slices deli ham about 10–12 oz / 280–340 g
- 8 slices mild melting cheese Swiss, provolone, or mozzarella
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise optional, for spreading
- Butter glaze
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon or yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon poppy seeds optional
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Lightly grease or line a small baking dish.

Slice the rolls in half horizontally (keep them connected).

Place the bottom layer in the baking dish.

Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the rolls if using.

Layer the ham evenly over the bottom rolls.

Add the cheese slices on top of the ham.

Place the top halves of the rolls back on.

In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, mustard, honey, onion powder, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.

Brush the butter glaze generously over the tops of the sliders.

Cover loosely with foil and bake for 12 minutes.

Remove foil and bake another 5–8 minutes, until the tops are lightly golden and the cheese is fully melted.
