Ingredients
Chicken
- 400 g about 1 lb chicken breast, finely chopped or minced
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small green chili optional, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro chopped
Batter
- 1 large egg
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Frying
- Vegetable oil enough for shallow frying

Prepare the Chicken Mix

In a bowl, combine the chopped chicken, onion, garlic, chili, and herbs.

Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.

Make the Batter

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg.

Add flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Stir until the batter becomes smooth.

Combine

Add the chicken mixture into the batter.

Stir until the chicken is fully coated.

Fry the Fritters

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the oil (about 1–2 tbsp each).

Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
